Carl-Johan Vallgren visits the city library in Karlskrona, which released his book ‘Din tid kommer’ in 2024.
Carl-Johan Vallgren was born in 1964 in Linköping and grew up in Falkenberg. He lived in Berlin for a long time but now lives in Stockholm and works as a writer. He made his debut in 1987 with the novel ‘Nomaderna’. This was followed by ‘Dokoument rörande spelaren Rubashov’ (1996) and ‘För Herr Bachmanns broschyr’ (1998). He has been translated into 30 languages and sold 400,000 copies of ‘
In April 2024, Carl-Johan Vallgren the existential crime history ‘Din tid kommer’, which was the novel that marked the return of Carl-Johan Vallgren's return to the writing. It was nominated for the Book of the Year award by Bonniers Book Club. In 2024, he was also nominated for the Swedish Crime Writers' Academy Award for Best Swedish Crime Novel 2024 for the very same book.
