This will be the sixth year for the festival, and as usual, it will present a diverse programme, that will include women composers in every concert.

Host: Peter Jablonski (Sweden).

25 October - The opening concert and our whole festival follows the concept of giving our audience a wide range of composers and styles, combining unjustly neglected works and world premieres with some of the most beloved works in the repertoire.

An evening of music by Karol Szymanowski

As a global ambassador for the music of Karol Szymanowski, Peter Jablonski presents a selection of his compositions. We will also show two short films about the composer, with the participation of Peter.

Szymanowski's music includes pieces from Masks, Metopes and a collection of mazurkas, performed in combination with music by Chopin and Paderewski/Stevenson.

26 October - The second concert of the Festival with the two award-winning pianists Alexandra Segal and Clare Hammond will present works for piano by two Schumanns - Clara and Robert - a husband and wife whose musical union inspired each other in life and work. Clara Schumann was well known as a virtuoso pianist, but it is only recently that she has also been recognised as a great composer.
We will also hear the beloved Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven, as well as works by Chopin and Chaminade among others.

27 October - The closing concert presents Debussy's stunning Preludes Book 1 for the first time alongside Swedish composer Martin Skafte's magical Preludes Book 1, inspired by Debussy's. The concert is performed by Peter Jablonski and Jonas Olsson, we will also hear Martin Skafte talk about his inspiration from Debussy.
