Daniel af Thunberg - the genius behind the Lyckeby Bridge

Museum pedagogue Ola Palmgren lectures on master builder and mechanic Daniel af Thunberg.

Daniel af Thunberg was the most skilled water builder of his time. After moving to Blekinge, he built the Vedeby farm, where he lived until his death in 1788. He was chief director of the new dock building in Karlskrona, but also designed the Göta canal and developed underwater blasting techniques.
