Lunch Lecture at the Naval Museum: Preparing for the Worst

Lunch Lecture at the Naval Museum: Preparing for the Worst

As a result of the events in Ukraine, museums in Sweden experienced an awakening to further enhance their preparedness to protect their collections during an armed conflict.

Previously, the focus was on risks such as fire, water leaks, and pests. Now, the focus shifted to evacuation. In recent years, the Naval Museum has worked extensively on disaster planning to address the challenges posed by a museum building located near the Naval Base and with storage facilities housed in an active shelter.

Participants:
Lina Mårtensson, curator at the Naval Museum.
