Tuesday Talk & Workshop - Slow Fashion, Japanese Recycling & Sustainable Wardrobes with Jennie Dahlen
Every year, the average Swede throws 7.5 kilos of clothes straight into the rubbish and the consumption of clothes is only increasing. How does this affect us as consumers, those who produce our clothes, the climate and the environment?
Lecture 18.30-19.30
Jennie Dahlén talks about the state of the fashion industry, but also how we create a wardrobe that both lasts over time and survives rapid changes in trends. She will share her best advice on how to think about purchasing, how to take care of our clothes in the best way and how fashion and clothes can be both fun and sustainable.
Come and learn more about the fashion industry while being inspired to take a more creative and sustainable approach to your wardrobe!
Workshop - Making clothes with sashiko and boro 19.30-21.00
