The Art of Enjoying Tea, A Traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony
Come and taste tea from ancient tea trees in the Pu'er region of Yunnan Province, China, and discover what Chinese philosophers have said about the art of enjoying tea.
Listen to a traditional tea song of the Lahu people, or perhaps an ancient Chinese poem about tea. Nature guide and storyteller Sofia Jentzsch, who lived in Yunnan for many years, will serve the tea in the traditional ceremonial manner and share stories about China's "green gold" and the Tea Horse Road (茶马古道), the ancient trade route that winds through Yunnan.
Drop-in between 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM at Lottens Stuga.
The tea ceremony costs 50 SEK per person. The price includes a tasting of two varieties of Pu'er tea Sheng and Shu from ancient tea trees.
This event is part of a full-day programme at Älmtamåla School during the Stories Under the Oak Festival (Berättelser under Eken).
