Autumn fun - Drottningskär Citadel

Drottningskär Citadel is open during the following hours during fall break and also during the World Heritage Festival:
Wed, Oct. 28; Thu, Oct. 29; Sat, Oct. 31, 10:30 a.m.– 4:00 p.m.
Fri, Oct. 30, 10:30 a.m.– 5:00 p.m.

During the fall break and the World Heritage Festival, the citadel will offer many fun family activities, such as a guided tours, treasure hunt, various games, and a lesson on cannons with Soldier Gabriel. Learn how to tie a knot. The Shipbuilding History Association will be on site to demonstrate.

Free admission.

Guided tours:
- Letters from Drottningskär Citadel — A family-friendly guided tour in Swedish. Daily at 11:00 a.m.
- The History of Drottningskär Citadel. Daily at 2:00 p.m.
- Kura Skymning. Fri, Oct. 30 at 3:45 p.m.

Please note! Not stroller-friendly. It may be dark inside the citadel. Uneven surfaces, numerous stairs, and weather conditions are factors to consider during your visit.

You are welcome to bring your own picnic basket into Drottningskär Citadel on these occasions. Light refreshments are available for purchase on site.
