In Karlskrona, Wind Music Day will be celebrated on May 23 at 3 p.m. in Wämöparken. In addition to the Navy Band, Blåskronorna from Karlskrona Culture School, Jämjö Music Society, Blekinge Home Guard Band, and the Navy Youth Band Kronan will also participate. David Lundblad will conduct, and Lisa Syrén, a radio personality from Karlskrona, will guide us through the afternoon.

About the program
The Wind Music Day project was started by the Network for Professional Wind Music in Sweden and was held for the first time in 2019.

Wind Music Day is aimed at everyone who plays wind music – from children and young people to amateurs and professionals – and encompasses all genres and ensemble forms within wind music. During the day, wind musicians from all over Sweden gather to show the importance of wind music for both today's and tomorrow's music scene in Sweden.
