Exhibition - Condemned, Hidden, and Forgotten
The exhibition Condemned, Hidden, and Forgotten highlights women’s and girls’ inherent right to their own bodies and their very existence. The exhibtion will be on display between October 14 - 19 at 10 am - 3 pm daily in The Holy Trinity Church on the Great Square in Karlskrona.
A collaboration between Kvinnojouren and photographer Maria Lindberg.
Maria is an award-winning photographer with a unique ability to capture the authenticity and power of her subjects. Among other accolades, she was crowned Swedish Champion and awarded a gold medal at the 2024 Swedish Photography Championships in the maternity photography category.
“This photography project highlights women’s and girls’ right to their own bodies, to live a free life, to exist as they choose, and to take their place in the world. Through powerful and beautiful images that tell important stories, I want to evoke emotions and spark reflection. I also aim to raise awareness about these issues and inspire change.”
