Take a seat for a while on the storytelling bench, where old sailors and fishermen spent many warm summer evenings sharing tales—some true, some less so—passing around snus containers and drinks. Listen to stories about coastal customs officers, the bathhouse company, the cherished cherry wine, and the schoolmistress who in 1893 had to choose between celibacy and dismissal.
Kristianopel holds stories that stretch back several hundred years. Some contain only a grain of truth, while in other cases reality surpasses fiction.
Duration: 60 minutes. The walk is easy and at a relaxed pace.
Starting point: By the stone wall outside the church.
Price: 200 SEK per person. Children aged 2–14: 20 SEK (paid on site). Maximum 1 child per adult.
