Language festival

The language festival offers a varied stage programme with author visits, dance, theatre and workshops. Among other things, Nioosha Shams, former reading ambassador, will inspire young people to write their own poems. Martin Nihlen will hold a series of workshops for children and young people. For younger children, there will be theatre performances where Mamma Mu and Kråkan will provide both laughter and warmth.

In addition to the stage programme, there will be several stations where visitors can create poetry, do crafts, meet fairy tale characters and go on a letter hunt. There will also be cosy read-aloud sessions with the opportunity to talk about screen time with experts from the family centre.

The language festival is a collaboration between Karlskrona municipality's schools, preschools, the Family Centre and the Cultural Council. It is free and open to everyone. No pre-registration is required.
