Lecture and discussion at the Naval Museum: Life with foreign service from a family perspective

In connection with Veterans Day, they invite you to a lecture and a conversation that highlights the experiences behind foreign service - both in and out of uniform.

Through personal stories from Marianne Hamilton Ekholm and Carl Johan Ekholm, both active in the Armed Forces, you get a close insight into what everyday life can be like for a family during foreign service.

How is life affected when a family member is deployed? What does life look like for the person who remains at home - and for the family as a whole? During the conversation, relationships, responsibility and cooperation before, during and after the assignment are touched upon.

They also highlight how to prepare for an operation and what support efforts are available, both within the Armed Forces and in the Swedish society.
