A Thorne to Death – 1923
The year is 1923, and at Drottningskär Castle, Commander Bernhard Holstein gathers the Crown’s men for a comradely dinner in the spirit of celebration and duty.
Forester Nils Kolsén harbours memories he would rather leave to rest; vet Henrietta Strandberg is grappling with figures that simply don’t add up; and head gardener Vera Almqvist knows that roses can be beautiful even when their thorns cause pain.
Housekeeper Bente Hove sticks strictly to the rules; cook Anna Frisk harbours old grievances; and stable boy Frans Åkerlund sees more than many realise.

Behind the castle’s thick walls lie things that should really have remained hidden.
Someone knows too much, someone else has seen more than they ought to have, and several have good reason to fear what the evening may bring.

Join us for a dinner party in honour of the Crown, where suspicions weigh heavily, secrets begin to unravel, and the truth turns out to have far sharper thorns than anyone anticipated.

Welcome to Drottningskär Castle – where all is not as it seems and where you are the guest of honour.
