FRIDAY 28 AUGUST at 7.00 pm — 14 DAYS ON BREAD AND WATER
A musical theatre production about Magnus Johansson – the nyckelharpa player who lived in Sweden in the 18th century and is often described as Sweden’s first known transgender person. We follow Magnus’s story in a narrative about identity, love, religion, power and being true to oneself. There is seriousness and darkness, but also warmth, humour, hope and plenty of music. The performance is presented by Karin Bergdahl and Frida Jonsving, who together play all the roles and perform all the music. FREE – but you need to book a place! (See link)

7.00 pm — REVEAL PARTY [DK] Danish artist Reveal Party makes music that lies somewhere between indie-folk, rock, emo and lo-fi pop. Behind the name is Emily Holm Nyhuus, whose music is personal, honest and full of emotion. It’s intimate, vulnerable and, at the same time, truly powerful – music about growing up, changing, longing and trying to find oneself. The album *Prettiest Flower* is a coming-of-age story rooted in the trans experience.

8.00 pm — DJ ETERNAL WONDER After the concert, we’ll turn up the tempo. Eternal Wonder is Albin Appelqvist from Torsås – a DJ and producer specialising in psychedelic trance. Expect high energy, electronic soundscapes and a dance floor that won’t stand still. Now it’s time to dance!
