The Royal Swedish Navy Band is back with a summer concert at Grevagården in Karlskrona, May 28 at 6 p.m. at Grevagården, Karlskrona.
Participants
Alexander Hanson – Conductor
The Navy Band
About the program
Grevagården was originally built as a private palace for Count Hans Wachtmeister and his family. Construction of the building, commonly referred to as Grevagården, began in 1703 and was completed in 1705. Together with its adjacent Baroque garden, Grevagården is one of the few private residences that survived the great city fire of 1790.
In the early 1970s, Blekinge Museum took over the properties in the neighborhood. Since the 1980s, the music corps has regularly held summer concerts here, and 2026 will be no exception.
This evening will feature a mix of marches, popular music, and classical gems—a wonderful musical experience awaits at Grevagården. A warm welcome to all!
In case of rain, the concert will be moved to Amiralitetskyrkan. Information about the change will be provided on the day of the concert via the music corps' website and social media.
