The Royal Swedish Navy Band - Meeting with Young Conductors
In the spring of 2026, the Navy Band will host five students from the music academy's master's program. The days will be filled with intensive rehearsals and mentoring, where the students will receive guidance from the band. The work will culminate in a public concert where the audience will experience the dynamic between youthful enthusiasm and professional musical precision. March 12, at 7:00 p.m. in Sparresalen, Karlskrona.

That is why, every year, the Swedish Armed Forces Music Corps makes its bands available for joint projects with the conducting class at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. This collaboration gives students the opportunity to work with professional musicians, develop their musical leadership skills, and deepen their understanding of the wind orchestra ensemble form.
