Seniorfestivalen 2026
Welcome to the Senior Festival in Karlskrona on November 4—an inspiring day filled with encounters, experiences, and new perspectives. Attend talks by popular figures such as Henrik Widegren, John Taylor, and Karl Fredrik Gustafsson, and discover a wide range of exhibitors at the fair.

Free admission. No bag restrictions.
The festival is a much-anticipated gathering where seniors can find inspiration, enjoy activities, and gain new perspectives. The Senior Festival attracts around 3,000 visitors annually and is a valued forum for meetings and dialogue.
This year’s theme: Karlskrona—The City of All Time
This year’s theme highlights how Karlskrona has been shaped throughout history, how the city is developing today, and how we are building the future together. The theme is inspired, among other things, by the SVT series *Så byggdes din stad* (*How Your City Was Built*), in which the episode on Karlskrona shows how the naval town emerged and how that legacy still shapes the urban environment.
Through this theme, we aim to foster a sense of pride, recognition, and curiosity among our visitors—and to share stories that connect the past, present, and future.

Henrik Widegren
Henrik Widegren, known as the “singing doctor” from the TV show "Fråga Lund", will be a guest at the Senior Festival with an entertaining lecture where humor, music, and song meet science. With warmth and a twinkle in his eye, he’ll talk about how laughter affects the body and the positive effects it can have on our health.
Karl Fredrik Gustafsson
Karl Fredrik Gustafsson, known from the TV show "Karl Fredrik på Österlen", talks about his journey from gardening enthusiast to renowned master gardener and florist. With his eye for color and form and his joy in creating, he inspires people to dare to think creatively in both the garden and the home, while also sharing practical tips and ideas.
John Taylor
John Taylor, well-known from the TV show "Trädgårdstider", will be a guest at the Senior Festival. Drawing on his book about composting, he’ll share tips on how to create nutrient-rich soil and care for your garden’s resources. He’ll also explain how best to prepare your garden for winter to give the next growing season a good start.

Exhibitors and clubs will be on site all day.
