Together for Peace - Pride
As part of Karlskrona Pride, the Stjärnstoff Cultural Association and the Karlskrona Peace Forum are organising the peace concert ‘Together for Peace’ at Klaipedaplatsen on Friday 28 August from 6.00 pm to 7.30 pm. In the event of rain: Folket hus, Karlskrona.
The event is being organised with the support of the Swedish Peace and Arbitration Society and Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan, in collaboration with Karlskrona Pride.
Taking this year’s Pride theme, ‘Together’, as its starting point, the concert aims to create a meeting place where music, conversation and community come together around issues of peace, democracy, human rights and everyone’s right to be themselves.
The evening will be opened by Sophia Ahlin from Karlskrona Pride.
Other participants include Kristina Jönsson from Save the Children’s Blekinge District and representatives from political parties. During the concert, Save the Children will talk about its work for children’s rights and for safe meeting places for LGBTQI young people in Blekinge. The musical entertainment will be provided by Duo StråkBälg (Ronneby) and Stjärnklart feat Moby (Karlskrona-Ronneby).
Free admission.
