At a time when the world around us is marked by turmoil, conflict, and uncertainty, fundamental human values may be more important than ever. Throughout history, faith, hope, and love have given people the strength to face difficulties, find meaning, and keep their eyes fixed on the future. They are not just words—they are guiding lights that carry us through both dark and bright times.
Tonight’s concert takes this concept as its starting point. Through music, we have the opportunity to pause, listen, and reflect on what unites us as human beings. Here we encounter the notes of faith—the trust that there is something greater than our worries. We encounter hope—the tenacious force that keeps us moving forward even when the path feels uncertain. And we encounter love—the strongest of all forces.
The concert is conducted by Alexander Hanson, and the band welcomes the phenomenal singer Martin Redhe Nord as a guest soloist. Daniel Breimert will guide us through the program.
We hope this concert will inspire both reflection and inspiration. When the final notes have faded, may the message of the music accompany you home—a reminder that what carries us through both difficult and bright times is faith, hope, and love.

Advance sales for members of the Friends of the Navy Band will take place on August 20 starting at 9:00 a.m. at the Karlskrona Tourist Center. Please note: In-person customers will be given priority over those purchasing by phone.
Concert Duration
Concert with intermission – Approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

– The Tourist Center will record your name and personal identification number when you purchase a ticket (for the Naval Base’s visitor registry).
– One name and personal identification number per ticket.
– Children under 18 may enter with a guardian’s ID.
– At the concert, everyone must present a ticket and valid photo ID.
– You must be a Swedish citizen to attend the concert.
