Walking tour of the main square – The Old Carlscrona Association
To mark Karlskrona’s 346th anniversary, the Old Carlscrona Association will conduct a walking tour around the main square, where they will share the history of the square and the buildings surrounding it.
Stortorget Walking Tour!
August 10, 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM
Stortorget, Karlskrona (German Church/Holy Trinity Church)
On August 10, Karlskrona turns 346. The occasion will be marked by a ceremonial speech delivered from the steps of Trinity Church by the association Carlscrona Redivida. Following this, the association Gamla Carlscrona will conduct a walking tour around Stortorget, sharing the history of the square and the surrounding buildings. World Heritage guides Eva Lindqvist and Ulrika Berthilson will lead the tours.
There will be two groups: one with a Swedish-speaking guide and one with an English-speaking guide.
No advance registration is required.
Cost: Members: 80 SEK/person (over 16); non-members: 100 SEK/person (over 16). Payment via Swish or card on-site.
In conjunction with this event, you can purchase the "2025 Yearbook – Stora torget" at a reduced price!
