World Heritage Concert – Music from the World Heritage Site!

The three great churches on Trossö, the Admiralty Church, Fredrik Church and Trinity Church, all play an important role as part of the World Heritage Site. In this concert, you will encounter unique music composed in and around the city’s churches.
The programme features music ranging from the early 19th century to the present day. Some of these works have long remained forgotten and hidden away, perhaps performed only once or on a few occasions. Others, however, were performed more regularly during their time.
In the mid-20th century, the renowned organist Torsten Wall served for many years at the Admiralty Church, as did his recently deceased successor, Christer Magnusson. These musicians, along with many other fascinating figures, will be brought to life through this unique concert, presenting a selection of musical gems from a bygone city.
