World Heritage Crafts with Helena Fridarp

World Heritage Crafts with Helena Fridarp

Welcome to Wachtmeister Galleria, where you can create new items from recycled materials inspired by the Karlskrona World Heritage Site, together with Helena Fridarp. Tuesday, October 27, and Wednesday, October 28, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This creative project highlights the city’s history, beautiful surroundings, and significance as a naval town. By repurposing old items, it combines creativity with sustainability and demonstrates that old materials can be given a new lease on life. Using simple materials and with a passion for creating, you’ll get to try your hand at making your own works of art.

Perfect for anyone who enjoys crafting, wants to use their imagination, and at the same time learn about Karlskrona’s history in a playful way.

Take this opportunity to join in and let your creativity flow—and discover how upcycling can turn into something truly beautiful!

Free admission, drop-in.

The event is part of the World Heritage Festival, October 24–November 1, 2026—view the full program via the link below.

Organizers: Karlskrona Municipality and Wachtmeister Galleria.
