In just a few years, soprano saxophonist and singer Nanna Carling has made over two hundred successful appearances – at everything from jazz clubs, summer stages, and cultural centers to major international jazz festivals.
Inspired by icons such as Sidney Bechet, Billie Holiday, and Johnny Hodges, Nanna stylishly delivers jazz music traditions to both new fans and die-hard enthusiasts. Through her exuberant live performances and strong online presence, Nanna has built up a global fan base numbering in the thousands.
In 2025, Nanna toured extensively with her new album “Melodies for Two.” This loving album is Nanna's first to feature only her own original compositions, in which she combines traditional jazz tones with a modern touch—a contemporary interpretation of a classic sound.
