Long Day's Journey into Night

Long Day's Journey into Night

A theatrical classic in a sharp and multi-layered interpretation on tour with Grynet Molvig and Krister Henriksson.

The National Touring Theatre proudly presents Nobel Prize winner Eugene O’Neill's masterpiece "Long Day's Journey into Night," starring Grynet Molvig and Krister Henriksson in the lead roles. Together with director Eva Dahlman, they highlight both the humor and the pain in this timeless story.

We follow the Tyrone family over the course of a summer day that turns into night. The family is held together by sharp wit, painkillers, grand dreams, card games, and deep love.

"Long Day's Journey into Night" marked the beginning of modern psychological realism. The play premiered at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in 1956, with Inga Tidblad and Jarl Kulle in the lead roles, and has since been performed on stages worldwide.

Rehearsals begin in November 2024, with the premiere in January 2025.
On a national tour in spring 2025.
