One Night Standup
After the success of 2023, ‘One Night Standup’ is back.
Once again, six of Sweden's foremost stand-up comedians put their bags together and go on a joint tour. This year's line-up consists of Petrina Solange, Marcus Berggren, Nisse Hallberg, Magnus Betnér, Ina Lundström and Niklas Andersson. During the darkest weeks of autumn, the new dream team travels around the country to give the audience a proper vitamin injection.
‘One Night Standup’ was born in 2023, and the concept of packing six of Sweden's funniest people into the same tour bus and sending them out into the country to perform stand-up in front of an audience during a few dark and intense weeks in November and December, was very successful.
One person making his ‘One Night Standup’ debut this autumn, and for very good reasons, is Marcus Berggren:
- I haven't been on the road for years and have a whole bucket at home with hilarious jokes that I want to save the country with, like a really rotten Jesus! And then my accountant said ‘that's a good idea if you don't want to go to jail’. I haven't left Gothenburg for three years and that's very much the fault of the electronic ankle bracelet but it's coming off in November! Bring a screwdriver!
A veteran of the programme is Petrina Solange, who was named Female Comedian of the Year earlier this year.
She's joining us for the second time and, wise from experience, she has a message for the audience:
- Just come and sit down. We'll take care of the rest.
