Utklippan

Sweden’s most south-easterly group of islands.
Utklippan actually consists of three skerries - Norraskär, Mellanskär and Södraskär. Between the small islands there is a protected guest harbor. On the southern skerry, lies the former lighthouse keeper community. The lighthouse on Utklippan was manned until 1972. The fortress with the lighthouse is now a building monument, and from the tower you have a wonderful view of the seal colony, the endless views and the barren nature. With Karlskrona Sjötaxi the boat journey takes about 45 min. The nature reserve Utklippan shows a very interesting flora, interesting amphibians and a rich bird life. It is like balm for the soul to sit on the smooth rocks and look out over the seemingly endless sea.
