Visit the Sloop and Long boat shed at the Naval Museum

Throughout the summer, you can take a closer look at the sloop and Long boat shed next to the Naval Museum, where you can see the boats that once belonged to the fleet's larger ships. You are welcome to come in!

The sloop and long boat shed, built in the 1780s, is one of Karlskrona's most impressive buildings. It is named after the small ship's boats, known as sloops and long boat, which were once stored in the building for the winter.

Even today, a large number of small boats are stored in the sloop and long boat shed. It is also home to the Naval Museum's exhibition on the navy's sloops, long boat and other small boats that once belonged to some of the navy's larger ships.

The sloop and long boat shed is open for visits from 1 June to 31 August.

Included in the entrance ticket.
