Both in Torhamn and Utklippan are nice and well-kept bird stations. Karlskrona Ornithological Club is a nonprofit corporation whose purpose is to promote the exploration of Blekinge's birdlife. The club organizes gatherings, excursions and information for the public about birds and their environment, operating at Torhamns and Utklippan bird stations, collect information and carry out research on the Blekinge birdlife and promotes bird conservation.
