The mill is open in the summer, when there is a café/restaurant.
You get a beautiful view of the island and the archipelago from the mill. Those who dare can follow the narrow stairs all the way to the top.
The mill was completed in 1901, built by the enterprising multi-tasker Anton Månsson, Kullen, on a strong base of granite and with a frame of ship masts that the Naval Shipyard had discarded because they were too short. The mill was in operation until 1964, from the 1930s with engine power instead of propeller power.
Next to the mill is the "mill storeroom" which can be rented by the community association for parties or holidays.
